2016 was a banner year for influencer marketing. It fully entered the marketing lexicon, becoming a buzzword and dominating a lot of the conversion about the future of marketing. Throughout the year we monitored the majority of media coverage surrounding influencer marketing. There were many poignant takes, interesting theories and actionable strategies being shared. Here were the ones we found most interesting:
